one state I was driving through this summer had a posted law that when wipers are on, lights are on!

Not even that I want her to have the tickets or anything I just can't afford my insurance to go up. But it wouldn't surprise me if she was, in a 35 mph zone you should be able to stop quickly

 

there is a local 4 lane street i always need to make a left turn on from a stop sign
speed limit is 35 and i know them suckers are going at least 50!

 

My girlfriend did some research and that is a michigan law as well.

 

Sorry for your loss, but agree with everyone else, take care of yourself first. This is my biggest nightmare, some idiot crashing into my 1st gen and having the insurance company total it. Also fear my temper, and the urge to beat the crap out of the driver. But since, I'm pretty much crippled, a 90 lb weakling could kick my ass, so that's more of a fantasy than reality. Take care, and hope something good come out of this.

Oh no. Any camera’s in the area? Look on houses, businesses etc. for cameras that may have caught footage of the accident.

Not that I'm aware of but there was witnesses. I'm gonna fight the ticket so it hopefully won't affect my insurance

Depending on how bent, and how badly you want to keep it on the road, there are shops that are EXCELLENT at straightening frames. Might be worth finding out who around where you are at that is good with that stuff and asking their opinion. Just saying is all

 

Would you be able to buy another frame in good condition if your current truck frame isn't salvageable? I'm sorry to hear about your injury and damage to your vehicle. Heal up from your injuries, settle with the other driver's insurance company for damages & medical costs, and repair or replacement of your truck.

 

That's a law in a lot of states, and every military base.

 

Has anyone experienced getting a frame straightened. I would love to keep this truck. But with all the money I just dumped into it, might benefit me more to part it out and get what I can out of it
