lol been following that...feel bad for Grand Dude, doesn't seem that hard to throw that part in a box and mail it out. But at the same time Relentless is doing it as a favor (I think?)...but if you're going to offer to do a favor for someone and tell them you're committed, then you gotta follow through.

So the new, bigger storage I moved my stuff into on Oct 30?

Their system accidentally charged me for the full month of October, charged me my other storage unit that I moved out of, and late fees for the new larger unit, as well as the storage cost for November.

In short? I spent +800 yesterday instead of just 394 when I got my new phone

One day I'll upgrade my stock 04 radio....until then I still rock a cassette tape adapter plugged into my phone to listen to Pandora, like it's 2004 all over again

Actually never mind...don't think we had smart phones in 04 quite yet. More like 2008 all over again

im picky.. keep eyeing aftermarket setups but theyre too damn flashy.
the 2020 86 radio is that weird toyota double din but slightly wider deal. fits the tundra perfect. and the color can be made to match the interior easy enough. when they start popin up used in a few months id guess it'll be 200-300 for a used one. get the 50 dollar wires from toyota to make it plug and play and youve got a much better and cleaner looking deal that an aftermarket car play radio

and i can finally make use of the microphone in my mirror

    Let us know man
I remember in the 80 series Cruiser world a popular oem unit swap that was plug and play was from the Scion Xa or b or both?? Don't memba. But used same plugs and mounting holes even. And they were all made by Pioneer. Good units. Hope you find the same thing here with this 'Scion' 86.
(side note, I know folks don't like those 86s but I think they look fun AF and it looks good to me:anonymous:)

I mostly want to upgrade so I can have Bluetooth and make/take phone calls finally while I'm on the road, instead of having to pull over like a caveman.

But you're right, seems most aftermarket setups are flashy and I wouldn't want that either

Your appreciation of the Toyota OEM quality would be welcomed and well received in the Land Cruiser world as well.
What's your pops do for work? Did I already ask you? I forget if so

Ready for something funny, I never had an ipod.
I did have a Creative Zen mp3 player though that my lil bro handed down to me. And that was only mp3 player I've ever had. That brother actually still uses his Ipod in his car lmao. I guess I'd have to as well if didn't have a paid for Spotify acct

I've only had one iPod and I still have it...don't think it's been turned on in 5+ years though. With Spotify and Pandora, music is so easily accessible now..at least to the degree that I want to listen to it. I just plug headphones into my phone and listen that way.
