I think the living area is far worse then the shop in my case.

The last person I talked to about cleaning ran out the door screaming I heard She hid under the bed for two days at home

 

My girlfriend fights against the mess constantly and does a pretty good job.

The dogs and I however trend toward a disaster.

That’s how I deal with my basement.

 

I get that. We’ve got a closet in a spare room that has been spilling out, turning the spare room into one big closet. It doesn’t help my wife is due the end of the month so now all of the baby stuff needs to find a home but to be clear I’m very excited about the baby coming!

 

I started my day off. Cleaning up my garage. To be able to get my generator and small air compressor out to lend to my buddy who’s shop had no power and a fun book of work.

 

then I took a ride to try out a Demo seat and windshield.

 

And Christmas is coming which means MORE toys and clothes.​

Yep, first one, we’re having a girl!

 

The power just now came back on. I’ve been running on the generator since I came home from work at 4 o’clock.

 

I will say that my backup power plan worked like a charm.
Took all of 3min to get power restored.
I have a dedicated breaker wired to A 220 outlet on the outside of my house. I turn off the main, turn on that dedicated breaker and then simply plug my generator into my house. It took me longer only because I had to wheel the generator out of the shed and start it!

 

Just make sure that main is OFF.

Absolutely.

I’m not an electrical expert buy any means but I do know how to correctly fire up my backup system.

I wasn’t able to pony up the dough for a transfer switch but I had a friend who’s a professional install a dedicated breaker and exterior outlet to make the process as simple as possible for a portable generator.

 

We actually used it up at @Cooktop86 Jeff’s house when @Redmann Mark did his shock relo.
