Yeah, what a crock. I can kill you just as dead with my H&R single shot handi rifle as my AR15.

Esp when they make 300blk handirifles. I thought I saw one or maybe a Ruger ranch rifle in 7.62x39 the other day as well. Even had a threaded barrel!

I can sorta see why that rule is in place. An AR-9 type platform makes sense on the pistol range, but the first guy to crack off a 300blk round on the pistol range is gonna draw some attention. And sadly, the people I see show up at the indoor range near me frighten the fuck outta me so ranges gotta make a black and white ruling on a lot of "common sense" stuff. You could hopefully determine that your 9mm ar goes to the pistol range, and the 5.56 pistol to the rifle range, but nope...someones gonna blow out the backstop.

I am hearing several indoor ranges are not allowing.44Mag or higher handguns. Not the power, but the noise and shock they produce is intimidating to those not accustomed to shooting. Seems muzzle breaks are becoming popular and those things aren’t exactly noise reduction either..
I actually scared a guy with my 44 vaquero at an outdoor range.lol

Muzzle brakes at indoor ranges are the bane of my existence. Nothing like doing a vehicle operations class with a partner carrying a braked SBR. He couldn't understand why we were all avoiding pairing up with him until his first trigger pull inside a ford taurus with all the windows up.

Agree. I took the high road after blasting off on the email. It inconvenienced me and I didn't like that. I literally ended up firing 7 rounds at the next range. All I needed to be certain it was on.

That SF Warden attachment is a great option if you are trying to avoid the NFA route for whatever reason. Only downside to them is if you happen to be in front of it, it will def ring your bell.
