There are plenty of options of good front bumpers. I personally chose CBI because I could get it in aluminum, it was in stock locally (no shipping cost or lead time) and it looked the best IMO. Also, my rear is steel since you're more likely to take bigger hits in the rear than in the front.

C4 Lo-pro or Hybrid bumper for best looks, functionality, and quality. Then CBI

Those wimpy bull bars just became dangerous in a crash and often cause way more damage.
It needs to be heavy steel or aluminum and bolt to the frame with hi-grade hardware

Since you don’t have TSS you can get any slim bumper that bolts to the frame, I’d get the winch compatable ones since they’re really no more expensive and you can put a small plate over the opening. This one is always in stock and no cutting.

Also, if you do get a winch, these are great for securing the bumper to the frame even more

Avid off road has a front bumper guard which is definitely a step up from a bull bar 1/8" wall 1 3/4" dia. steel. [IMG]. I like the looks of the second gen better though.

It was in stock at an offroad/overland shop. They had several different ones and since I didn't have to pay for shipping, I basically got the powdercoat for free even with state sales tax (which is super high in WA state).

Yep. Surprised that they weren't gouging on prices. I'm sure they got some sort of discount for buying multiple at once.
