Just out of curiousity. I have been a Dodge guy my whole life (used to get a new one every year) but decided with the American companies going to shit I would try Toyota (and I love it btw). That and the fact that i worked for a Dodge Dealer for 10 years and it happened to be one of the over 800 dealerships that Obama decided to close down last year. Anyway my last 3 trucks were Dodge Diesels and i had 7 gas motors before that. There was a TJ (Wrangler) in there somewhere to.

here is my last truck.....i dont miss it at all now that i have my Taco

I drove a 2006 F-250 and I do miss it but it kept breaking on me. Got a bad apple, well, I had my eye on the Tacomas one day when i visited Toyota Shopping and it got my eye. So far, I love it and should be keeping it for awhile. Well, I promised my wife I would keep this truck for awhile. Here is what I drove before

wow imagine that! a ford breaking down lol

i used to drive a 06 scion tc. i really liked it at first, did a few things and it was pretty quick and got 30 miles to the gallon:) that was nice! but after a while i got tired of it and i abused it pretty bad and i felt like it was just a problem waiting to happen so i traded it for the tacoma now and wow couldnt have found a better truck!

Yeah tell me about. Well I can say that I have had 2 other F-250's just like it and didn't break at all, however, those past two were the 7.3L powerstroke, the engine that was unbreakable, and this last one, was the 6.0 that wasn't worth a damn. Oh well, that truck is gone and no worries now.

I had the same issue with the 6.7L cummins. The damn emmisions are way too strict on diesels now man i never had any issues with my 5.9 diesels...other than the tranny but thats Dodge for ya.

All the 6.0 250's were "bad apples" lol. My dad's was in the shop more than on the road. Within a week of driving it off the lot brand new, We had to call a tow truck to pick up the pos from our driveway. Injectors, cam's,etc. . .

But, the 150's are bulletproof imo.

2004 Chevy Silverado Z71, extended cab. Loved that truck! Wanted something a little smaller and more reasonable for where I live. Tacoma was a great compromise, smaller size and great capabilities!
