Lowest Ridgeline I could find local was $31,000. I had a 2018 CR-V that I still owed 6,000 on so I had to get another Tacoma. Would love to have a Ridgeline though. I don't get off the hard road so a Ridgeline would suit me fine.

The Tacoma will retain it's value waaaay longer than a Ranger. It's a nice truck though but Toyota vs Ford? I'll put my money on a Toyota all day, everyday $.02

I’m kidding, the only thing I’d trade it for is a Ridgeline

You sound like my dad. He drove his SR5 pickup until it had 300k miles. Then an S10 Blazer for another 200k. Now he’s on a Wrangler with 170k, which is a miracle in itself.
But wait, resale doesn’t matter because we’re all going to keep our Tacoma’s and drive them until the wheels fall off.

If Toyota offered cooled seats as an option, I'd trade tomorrow.

When I bought my Cement I walked out to get in for the first time and the a-hole dealer had parked a Cav Blue Pro right next to it. I instantly felt the same way you do. I still like the Cav Blue but the new Pro colors become less cool the first time you see an SR roll by a year later. Don’t do it.

I wouldn't mind a 2020 Army green Pro for my 18 off road but I paid cash. I would literally be throwing $10,000 out the window in taxes in 2 years, nope

Sold my 16 TRD V6 sport access cab. auto after all the TSB's, it still lunged when shifted into gear, hunted for gears, after 37 months, I got fed up with it. I can only describe it as Obnoxious, not user friendly
I also own a 2017 Camry XLE V6, Automatic , I am told these are the same engine, so I know Toyota can build a user friendly auto trans.
I bought a 2019 TRD V6 Sport Access cab. 4WD six speed Man. Trans. I have a much smoother, user friendly Drive, even picked up a Mile or two MPG out on the Rd. at 70 MPH
world of difference for me changing from 16 to 19

I kinda get this reason too. However if a vehicle is so screwed up that I can no longer live with it, and the manufacturer won’t make it right, I’m out. I’m not going to give them a second chance on my dime.

Fabric seats don't make you sweat, killing the need to be cooled. Somehow leather got a reputation for being "premium" by marketing strategies over the years. Leather tossed in the majority of vehicles nowadays is far from actual leather. Cloth seats are not cold in freezing weather, not hot in hot weather, and don't make you sweat because your sitting on a non breathable surface. Why leather became a fascination in cars is something I'll never understand.

Not really. Cooled seats cool you off much quicker when you get into a hot vehicle, period. My F150 had cloth seats as does my g/f's car. Both would have benefited from cooled seats. The summers here are pretty brutal and the interior gets really hot when parked in the sun.

I have considered doing that too, hopefully it doesn't get discontinued.
