What kind of sleeping buddies are they? Do they like to snuggle or are they so warm you can't be in the same bed with them?

 

Maybe the warmth is good for the cold north California winters.

Rocky! Turbo's new best friend

 

The Newf is a very gentle "snuggly" breed but I've never let her in the bed. I think it would be to warm for a Newf. I've seen pictures of newfoundlands curled up sleeping in a snowstorm with a couple inches of snow on top of them.

Wow! Had a husky did the same thing, just cruled up in a snow storm! Arent those guys good swimmers?

Newfs are strong swimmers, used for water rescue in some places. There's a rescue outfit in Italy that just tosses dogs out of a helicopter when they see someone in trouble.

Yeah all over the place. Having Turbo and Rockee in the same place is a lot of work watching them run around.
