Any 3rd gen owners come from or now behind the wheel of a Frontier?

I'm starting to think the extended cab SV 4WD is an awesome value for the money. I'm not going to lie, but sometimes I think about selling my TRD OR and moving down in truck. I'm sure the depreciation is a little steeper with the Nissan, but I could sell mine and pocket a few bucks. My 18 is paid off.

That's the same math that landed me in a frontier in 2008. Zero regrets.

I had a rental Fortnier for a bit, not a bad truck, they are reliable but a little dated as well

Dont buy a new one, buy a used one, put a deck in it and enjoy.

They aren't great on gas but torquey and more enjoyable on the highway.

I have an xterra, and the radio made the truck feel way more modern.

While I do love my Taco, I originally wanted the frontier because of the value and I enjoyed the test drive. The wife on the other hand enjoyed the creature comforts and looks of the Taco better though and convinced me to it. No regrets but I think the frontier is a great truck and value

Had a 08 NF. Great truck, steering radius sometimes an issue. Great torque, good highway manners. Handled everything off-road.

Had a Frontier as a rental before my Tacoma and it just felt cheap and more like an SUV than a truck.

I came from an 02 Frontier to my 18 Taco. The Nissan was a great truck, really close to 300K lifted miles and no major repairs other than front end bushings every 3-4 years because of the lift and some offroad abuse. 198700_2399589324621_1283895188_n.jpg 308069_2399589484625_1706978866_n.jpg 61402_2399589204618_1420948412_n.jpg

One of the biggest reasons why I went Tacoma instead of Frontier. Plus, no extended cab on the Pro-4x. Not sure why they can't make them able to turn!

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Put 300k on an 84 720 KC then bought a 93 Hardbody for $400. Drove it for 4 years and sold it to a girl that honked at me on the street and said she “had to” buy my truck. I asked her what she wanted to pay, she said “$1,600?” I said “follow me home“. We did the paper work, I followed her back to her house then she drove me back home. I fn love NIssan trucks but in 2010 the Nissan salesman was an ass so I walked across the street and bought the only new Taco on the lot. The Taco has been fantastic, as well

Frontiers are great trucks. It was neck and neck between a Pro4x and the Taco when I was in the market. I had an 01 Xterra years ago that I loved. Super simple, solid ride, very dependable, terrible fit and finish but who cares. Never had a single problem with it.

    Nissan trucks are underrated IMO.

That said, still love my Taco and am glad I got it.

Yeah if anything go down to a 2nd gen. Sell that 18, if you own it outright, and pocket 10k give or take.

I couldn't handle the interior. Good value though if you don't mind. Redesign coming next MY or one after I believe.

I was seriously looking at buying a 17 Frontier but went with the Tacoma after reading Nissan was having transmission problems and trying to get out fixing them in 2017. I liked the look of the truck and the price was considerably lower than Tacoma's. I just read a article the other day saying to avoid the Frontiers because they are still having transmission problems. Looks like I made the right choice.
