My old cat Ellie was 23 when she passed and she was doing ok until the last day or so. I made the decision to let her pass naturally at home and every time I think about her I regret that decision. The last few hours (middle of the night) before she died she was making these weird sounding almost hollow howling sounds. I regret that she may have been suffering but maybe that is just part of a normal death.

 

He’s probably plotting on the Avengers.

Ours do that with the birds on the grass. It’s always amusing to watch. They’ll paw at the glass as if that will accomplish something.

I'm sorry to hear that chance, Piper is in a better place with unlimited treats and where it rains catnip.

 

All the damn time... he blocks the remote so I can't change the channel or turn up/down the volume. He just sits there and stares at me.

 

Harley loves to sit on the remotes, my cell phone, wallet, keys...anything I leave on the couch basically.

If my wife says she can't find something, I always ask her 'did you check under the cats?' And often... there it is

 

Paid a visit to Marty this evening. He was eating kibble and wet food but was not putting on weight as expected so out came the bottle about a week ago... got him back on track and he got a clean bill of health today at the vet along with the necessary shots.
Very likely we’ll be a 4 cat home next weekend.
