What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

To counter the lean when putting a lift on, do you have to add a spacer or is there another option?

Got my new exhaust installed

 

Gibson Exhaust and TRD Pro skid plate

 

Dropped in on my buddy's development to test out my 4 wheel drive. Wasn't needed but I wanted to play with 4-Lo to make sure it was good to go if I ever needed it. Got home and painted my TRD skid plate and changed my oil (put on the aluminum filter housing and a fumoto drain valve). Just over 1k miles so it wasn't needed but I wanted to flush any shavings out now. There was some in the plastic filter housing but not as bad as a friend's filter housing on his first change.

 

I’ve seen a lot of people using 5100’s just raise the spring perch one notch on the drivers side. If I recall correctly that was even mentioned in the Bilstein instructions. I was tossed between both options bouncing back and forth between wanting the same preload on both springs and thinking the heavier side might benefit from the added preload. I ended up ordering the headstrong 1/4” spacer but still haven’t gotten around to installing any of it.

 

Installed new nerf bars. They are the Tyger Amazon bars $300 free shipping fit perfect. Probably won't stop much but other people's car door smacking mine but they seem tuff enough and make it much easier to reach the roof rack.

 

I plan on doing the same thing with a spacer and 1 notch pre-load(ran out of time this summer) in the spring. Only got 5100 installed in the rear and the RMAS kit to give me some lift. I would like to know your results when complete.

 

Added AVS window visor and some Ebay all weather floor mats today

Installed sso bumper today with winch. Didn’t get a chance to do the slime line high clearance sides yet but that will be tomorrow.

Changed oil & Filter, tire rotation and installed Pop & Lock. Also ordered N2 Designs remote start.

The price was 2.24 i think, the grocery store does gas points. The do triple points Tuesday, plus they send 100 point coupons, 50 point prescriptions.

I save all my points, shop big on Tuesday and use the coupons. Then they sometimes scan the 100 point coupon at the self check for you.

Anyway, after saving for the month i use it at the beginning of the next month.

I average one fill up a month between 70 cents and 1 dollar off. My best was 95 cents. I paid 1.34 that day.

 

Threw on some RCI racks! Took a lot longer than I thought. Lots of bolts/washers/screws. Tough and sturdy as crap though.

 

Hope to get mine by December. Did you take the whole front fascia off?
