    Lemme Guess you can't flash the beta using the P5 Flash utility?

    Hey guys so I’m having some problems flashing to 2.0 4.88 tune. I currently have 1.05 from when it came out last year and haven’t tried flashing since then. I went through all the processes of downloading the new Toyota flash manager and doing each step correctly when it comes to flashing but when I flash the truck it goes for a second and then just stops. It reports I have low battery voltage but I tried disconnecting all my accessories and still reports the same. Any thoughts as to what I need to do?

    Make sure your truck is in ignition mode with two button presses foot off brake, as the error is saying that you need to turn the ignition on.

    ^^^ this and then

    Try this:
    Go back to the Toyota Flash Manager - select No Dongle, the proper year ('17), - don't worry about selecting a tune to down load, then go to the help button and click on UPDATE. Then go to the "Tuning" button and select P5f utility and then "flash it" and then select the tune you have saved in your download. ??

    Just flashed 2.0. Forgot to clear all the crap afterwards. But am noticing a much more linear throttle, and doesn't want to shift into 5th or 6th so fast.

    Delete all the files you downloaded, then download the file again.

    The file you are trying to flash has a (4) and (1) means it's trying to flash a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy etc

    Also quadruple check your ID matches the file ID

    @GoldenBrew @OVTune

    Well today I ran the exact same run I did last weekend with the same gas. Last weekend was 04B04 (newest 2.0) 4.88 87 octane tune.

    Today was the 04B04 (0944 beta) 4.88 87 octane tune. This tune performed amazingly well in all aspects of shifting, power, and mpg. Way better than the newest 2.0 4.88 tune.

    I agree with what the other 04B04 guys that have ran this beta. It was awesome and I think I will stick with it for some time. Averaged 18.5mpg tank through the passes and into 3500ft elevation. Outside temp was 38-48 degrees.

    Wow, the 04A61 19800 on 91 with stock exhaust is on point so far. I have about 300 miles on the tune and no major problems.
