    Hey all,
Just bought my Tacoma last week, traded in my brand new 2010 Wrangler, got sick of it pretty quick as a daily driver.
Loving the Tacoma so far; was gonna drop about $6k into mods for the Jeep but I'll probably leave the truck untouched for awhile, it's just good to have a truck again.
I found a 2008 w/ only 15k miles for about 26k, so I swapped the jeep on the spot, best decision I've made lately.
Lookin' forward to meating those of you in the North Texas area.
    PB

Best mpg I got was 15.5hwy; Don't believe factory estimates.

If you live close to work it's fine, if you drive > 40 miles to work and back
you'll be spending mucho$ for gas, and living /driving in Dallas traffic everyday was just p*ssing me off w/ a stick.
what can i say, I missed having a truck.
I'll definitely get another Jeep once I pay this one off.

Welcome from Fort Worth. A jeep would be fun to have as a toy, but I agree, not as a daily driver.

    Welcome!

Your post just makes me feel better about my decision to buy a Tacoma. For the longest time, I wanted a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. I rationalized (like we all do) about how you only live once, and it would be a fun vehicle for the weekends, etc. I finally talked myself out of it because I have a long commute (about 70 miles round trip) and knew the Tacoma would make a much better daily driver. I average about 21 mpg.
