Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum. Just purchased a 1995.5 Xtracab V6 4x4 for $5700. It's manual, brand new clear coat (2 months old), Manik nerf bars, grill guard, and tail light guards, Rhino liner, and Viper security system. It's got 180,000 miles that are mostly highway, one owner, clean title, no rust, no accidents, stain- & rip-free interior.

I have to drive about 10 hours sometime within this next month to pick it up (have to find a weekend I'm free!). Can't wait, though. This is my first pickup, and I've been looking for a Taco for a while! Used to drive an '86 Bronco at one point, and miss going off road!

What do y'all think -- good deal or not?

 

2004 SR5 Prerunner 2.7L, Xtra-Cab 76K miles. paid $12000 beginning of this year. Its pretty dang clean inside and out save for a few few minor dings that can be easily removed.

 

$13k for an 07 reg cab 4wd with 50,000 miles three months ago. not a scratch on it

 

I purchased a tan 2003 4x4 Double Cab, TRD, one elderly owner, from a dealer, with 42K miles, the day he traded it, for 15.9K. They detailed it, put about $900 or parts and labor. They treated the frame (didn't need replaced), did rear brakes, calipers, and something with bell cranks (they apparently freeze up). I missed out on an 2002 that somebody bought before they could even get it in the shop. I didn't realize the demand for these things. If you find what you like, go for it. I didn't haggle on the price and the dealer did a pretty thorough job on it.

 

4,300 for an my 01 in my signature. salvaged.

 

Reading this makes me think I should have looked for a slightly used model......paid $32k (no tax cuz I traded in my diesel straight across the board) this past may for mine

 

Yup I paid cash $24,500 in 2001 and it had 4 miles on it when I turned the key for the first time. Now I have 92,000 all-Frank miles on it now

 

paid $5,500 for my 2000 with 165k on it

2000 sr5 trd 4x4 5 speed 3.5l v6 with 125000 miles for 6 grand

 

$4500 for my 1999 tacoma prerunner. The original owners pretty much followed the book on maintenance. Front right fender was crunched, and the windsheild has a crack in it though.

 

'03 DC 4x4 TRD SR5 (one owner) 81k for $15k this past August.

 

Paid 10 grand in 04 for my 01 Reg Cab 4x4. It was a baby only 15,000 miles on it.

"04 double cab, TRD, SR-5, V-6, 149,000 miles, paid $12,200.00 April 2010.

 

01 TRD 4x4 sr5 3.4 v6 5spd with around 126,000 for 3K back in april all records and not a scratch on it. Most miles were highway. Had around 1500 worth of work done about 2 months before i got it, new clutch, brakes yada yada yada. damn stealerships are high!
