That would have been a steal. I tried to delete it, but I couldn’t.

Are you looking for a set of sport wheels or am I missing something here?

It was originally a link to to some TC UCAs, he edited it to the wheels shortly thereafter.

I bumped my other thread by mistake for some UCAs that had sold. That post was deleted. The wheels are still for sale.

Gotcha. Had a feeling it was something I missed in a thread a while back. Getting new wheels soon and will have mine for sale after the new ones get mounted. Thanks for the clarification.

I just bought a spare set of wheels from GA and not sure if they will work. I'm thinking I need an 8" wide wheel now for some 285s. The ones I bought are factory 7" wide wheels.

I am taking these off my 2018 Pro with 11,000 miles.
Great condition, they look almost new...I'm just getting something a little more aggressive on Thurs.
I'm 60 miles south of Macon on I-75.

Yea think you need something wider for 285's. The ones I'm getting are 8 " wide so I have options. If you're going with 285 70 17 the chart I have recommends 7.5 to 9.5 inch wheel so 8" would be good.

Dang it. I've been planning on going 285s next, but says 7.5" - 9" recommended. I think my FJ wheels are only 7" wide as well.

    Though we could go with a 275/70/17 ( )

    You're correct. With 275 70 17 tires the wheel size that's recommended are 7" to 8.5"

    Looks like I'm good!

FJ Wheel Specs - Looks like I have 17x7.5" wheels.

That's an oddball size and not many tires in that size either. I guess I'll try and sell this spare set I have, to put towards some wider wheels.

    The stock sport wheels are 7.5 X 17 so you could go with 265 70 17, 275 70 17 or 285 70 17 to give you some options

I’d personally have no reservations throwing a 285 on a 7” wide wheel. While I fully acknowledge that is .5” narrower than most tire manufacturers recommend mounting a 285, I’ve seen first hand tons of folks run that size combo without issue for me to be concerned.

    Just my $0.02.

Another size for those on 17” wheels looking for other options is the 33/10.5/17. Not a lot of tires out there in that size, but I’m thinking we will see more in the future :spy:

    Same crap everyone else got
We've been running 285's on my wife's stock Xterra rims for years. I think it's 16x7. No issues yet and it's wheeled and been a DD all over Colorado and GA for the past 6 years on that tire size.

I ran 32x11.5 on a 15x7 rim for years and wheels it fine. Went to 15x8 for a 35x12.5.

Not saying what I do is correct but many do it with no worries or issues.

Nice to know. Did you have any problems airing down when offroading?
