    Not sure if I ever responded...
    I love the look of the 285's and the performance is fine, they are not Pirellis and this not a Porsche. I'm about "driving" so my lift and my tires are all "one step below over the top" in as much as I have my lift tuned at about 2 inches instead of maxed and the 285s are 70/17s...the combination of the Icon digressive shocks and these tires at 34PSI give me excellent cornering, amazing washer-board stability and curb jumping. Purists might argue the E rating and weight and lord knows what else about logos, performance and mystical tire nuances. In the end they are tough tires on a truck...just what I needed.

    I will likely and eventually re-gear to 4.88 but I drive with my foot on the gas...keep the rpms up with ShiftSense Pro and just have truly learned when to give it more or less gas depending on the reaction. In other words I don't complain like a stupid fuck, I drive this truck the way it works best. I'm hopeful a supercharger will be developed...so I'm in no hurry to change the drive train until I know what the engine is going to do for me. Next time we meet you can drive it.
