Ordered my 5100's from DSM last night and got approved for the rear spring TSB this morning. Everything should be here next week. Can't wait. Also going to order 265/75/16 duratracs this weekend. Planning on putting the 5100's at 1.75" for a nice leveled/slightly lifted look. This will all be on my 2010 SWB 4cyl 4x4 access cab. Pics will be posted as progress is made.

This is the TSB and billys @.85
I think the trucks look slightly nose high at 1.75.
The 256/75R16 can fit without any lift,
but look better and have extra clarence with the TSB / Billys
going up to a 285 usually create's rubbing issues

Im doing the same at some point, keeping the 265s so I dont need other suspension mods to get a decent alignment, and my gearing stays the same for mileage/speedo function.

This is a great...simple...basic setup that gives the Tacoma the look it deserves.

It's the setup I'm looking to go with.

And the stance Toyota should offer stock. At least in the 4x4 platform.

    Will do...man
I agre on the .85...and this has been widely discussed here.

I think the rear TSB settles after a little use and then the 1.75 gives the truck that Obama, nose in the air, arrogance look. :p

I'm a simple and humble man, so I'll probably go with the .85.

Tip for you. When you put the 5100s on you are going to need an alignment. You are going to get a free alignment with your tsb, so put your 5100's on then roll that suck in the dealer for a free alignment. I also suggest 1.75, your rear is going to be pretty high after the tsb.

You mind linking me to the TSB you used? I ran through the sites TSB list and the only one for the rear suspension (in the list I saw) was 05-08, and the dummies at my local dealership won't even look at it without something including my year (09). Since you have a '10, I figured it was worth asking.

You can PM me if you'd rather. Nice job getting that approved.

Thanks. I did search but I was only finding old (up to 08) docs, not that current once. Much appreciated. Hope to have someone looking at this next week, will be doing the same setup as well.

Yea I know they fit but they are stuffed in there. I want just a little bit of lift and not have to do any major trimming. The next size up would be 285's and they rub without trimming. Also the truck is a 4cyl so I don't want to choke the mpgs/power too much.

Yup Im going to do the 5100's first. The 2010's they only change the springs in the rear now. No new shocks, and the front is not touched. So normally they just do a rear alignment but I know someone who works in the service department and they said to just throw the 5100's on first then bring it in and she will have them do a 4 wheel alignment under the TSB :D

Not sure of the exact measurements front and back
I just wanted it to be level.

billys up front at .85, rear TSB springs, everything else stock
The ride got slightly firmer with the new TSB rear springs
But the ride is nice, alot better when hitting pot holes, or dips in the road
truck feels more solid, not squishy like before
