Ditto. I still think we are good. I was gonna try to hold out till my mid term break / fall break and do it as school consumes ALL of my time these days. We could just keep an eye and plan accordingly once we see temps dropping. It only takes an hour or so in the driveway even doing inside door holes, etc.

In the 5 years I’ve been working at the dealer. I think we’ve had 6 manual tacomas on the lot.

Does anyone have a stock exhaust for a 2nd gen that I could borrow for a very short time? I’m figuring like a week probably 2 tops.

I don’t need to buy it. If you need a little bit of dough to let me “rent it” then it is what it is. So long as it ain’t too much.

I need it because I want to take off my current exhaust, get it media blasted and then ceramic coated.

Please if you can help me out, I’d appreciate it.

    Juan

Does anyone have a spare tire or a rim of the spare tire laying around for a second gen that they would sell. I truck came from Canada and tire was covered in rust very badly.

I’ll check today to see if it’s there. If it is I can bring it to work with me if you want to grab it. I work right at Toyota in Schererville

Hey guys heading to Chicago next weekend and wondering if anyone knows if Glenview is a nice spot to stay? There's a best western we are looking to book there. But we spent the weekend here in Philly and the one we booked was in a trash area we didnt realize so I'm trying to do a bit of asking first

Glenview is fine if you’re just stopping for the night and moving on. It’s all good suburban towns there. If you are going to explore Chicago at all then stay downtown. Save yourself the hassle of driving in and out.

Glenview is a nice town but there’s not a lot going on there. It’s gonna be at least a half hour drive into the city, longer if there’s traffic or a train ride. Stay in the city, the money you may save by staying in the burbs will be offset by time wasted going to the city and spending money on transportation.
