    Had a '92 no name truck.....guys would customize that gen by taking off the letters on the tailgate! The more things change, the more they stay the same. Great to have all these options available! Props to the one's who have the desire/energy to do this. This old man had his day with customizing.....now I'm too plum lazy to do any of that. And stay off of my lawn! Dang young whippersnappers!!!

    I just got the same ones from Amazon….how is yours holding up so far
    Or anybody else that has these…they look really good and made out of some heavy metal for sure

    after 1 1/2 years, the letters themselves are still holding strong. However the finish is fading a bit and turning slightly dark gray. Kind of getting a white-ish haze. Not enough for me to replace or do anything with, but noticeable if you really pay close attention.

    I'm thinking about Bondo and repainting the tailgate.
    (I might just pick up a spare tailgate at the mall today to try & see if I like it without the letters, LOL)
