You're a better man than I. Good on you for hosting, too.

Not saying don't wheel. Not sayin' don't use your chit. But I am sayin' the last guy who needed my help with a valve job on his 3RZ-FE got turned around and sent back to the car wash before he even rolled in the drive. I don't know... maybe he just wanted as much red Moab grit as he could get in his valvetrain. Street cred. :der:

well yesterday and today. yesterday swapped out 600 lb springs for 650 lb on my 6112 coilovers. made an incredible difference in ride quality. today i was able to locate the source of a squeak and fix it. so overall a great weekend for the Taco

I thought there had been a 30k mi service but i guess they didn’t change the plugs cause it’s 3x3 gapping isn’t bad, .550 on all the ngks and .500 on all the denzos

So I’m trying to install a tekonsha P3 and Amazon told me that the 3040-p cable would fit but it doesn’t seem to match the plug I have under the dash. Anyone else? 2014 sport dcsb

There should have been an optional single that will connect the controller to the car. And if you have a factory tow package your Tacoma should have come with a universal dongle that you can wire to the controller and plug into the harness.

There was, but the reviews said this was plug and play and I was trying to make it a 5 minute install but maybe not

I did the front and rear differential and transfer case oil change thing. Not sure when it had been done last, if ever, I picked it up at 50K now at 76K. Pretty nasty sludge in both diffs. Then I washed it, which was also way overdue.20191103_122922.jpg 20191103_161917.jpg

Curious to hear if there is any noticable change with the cowel air intake. The exterior airflow is the opposite direction of the engine air intake. Your intake air could be fighting a local negative pressure in that location.

Today: Cleaned up the pieces I removed as part of my front-end conversion with the hope to sell them and recoup some money.

Two weeks ago: Installed the mounts from RAM mounts from BallsOutOffroad.

Took the Last chance Canyon trail off Garlock road off of Hwy 14 (very rough 4x4 lifted on sliders required) up to the Old Dutch cleanser mines (35.4333° N, 117.9276° W) Very fun and rewarding trip. Its also next to the burro Schmidt tunnel. A one way 1/2 mile tunnel you can walk through. PM me, I got tons of cool trails here

Will do! I will say after 1 day of use, the processing speed on this radio is fantastic. While running CarPlay it moves between apps incredibly fast as well as pulling up navigation routes much faster than I am used to. We’ll see in the long run though.
