Did either of you need to do a CMC to get those to fit?

Late to the party, but i was almonst sold on the SR8S, I fell in love woth the rebounds a few months back, but i read somewhere that they are a heavy rim? Any thoughts on that. Also, i like SCS dark bronze, anyone with a dark bronze on a Quicksand taco?

I wasn't impressed with mine for the day I had them. Made in China and heavy (30lbs?). Mine looked like Jim Carrey delivered them (beat to hell). I think my thread is around somewhere. I'm still stock.

Don't get me wrong, they look nice enough (if UPS doesn't deliver them).

I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on some rebounds with the current 25% off deal going on. I still just couldn’t swallow the 30 lbs for that price. From my research SCS makes a premium wheel and saves you about 6 lbs per corner.

30lbs is the shipped (boxed) weight for the Icons. Actual weight is 27-28lbs, so about 2-3lbs more than the SCSs, not enough to notice any difference between the two. Your wallet will be heavier with the Icons though, since they are cheaper and actually go on sale. Saw them a month ago for <$700 for all 4.

I’m about to pull the trigger on the Icon Rebounds. All said and done going to be around $1250 from 4wheelparts.com. 1k for wheels, 200 tpms, ~50 lugs, 50 mount balance, +tax.-10%. Unless somebody can appointment in the direction of a better deal....
Does $50 each sound decent for the TPMS sensors?
I picked up some near new 275/65r18 Goodyear Duratracs off craigslist for $500.
They’re on back order though and I think it’s going to be quite a long wait. Maybe even up to 10 weeks!!

I’d say for brand new that’s a decent deal. Especially when combined with the killer deal you got on tires. TPMS are a nasty little additional cost but also a decent price for brand new.

I recently scored a set of icons with KO2’s for $1300 with only 8k miles. One tire has a plug but otherwise in excellent condition. I’ll post pictures up soon.

Ended up coming out to $1105. Which included mounting and balancing my new tires and also taking off and putting back on my stock tires after taking out the stock TPMS sensors and putting them in the new wheels. Total will be $1605. If I can get $750 for the stock take offs then I’ll break even with the $850 that I got for the ones from my 2016.

Nice score! 8000 miles is nothing. I’d take that for 300 bucks less!

Hot damn! I overlooked the fact that you had 18’s! I was torn between those and 17’s. Played it safe with 17’s. Your setup looks dialed in! Nicely done sir. Makes me second guess my decision.
