Sylacauga Toyota is where I bought my truck... Truth be told, they were a little skeezy and they're also a chevy/other brands dealer, but they had my truck at a good price.

I bought a new 2011 Tacoma from Serra Toyota in Birmingham about three weeks ago. It was the most awful buying experience I have ever had. Horrible. I will never set foot in that place again.

Where are some good shops in the Bham area that would put on a lift for under $200? The reason im asking so many questions like this is because I still live 700 miles from the great city of Birmingham.....

There's plenty of members that would be willing to help you do it yourself for free... I'm pretty sure most shops are gonna charge over 200..

A day or two. Take how long you think it will take and multiply it by 4. It always takes longer than you think. :D Doable in a weekend though.

I might just go with a 2.5" spacer in the front. That might be it for the moment. Im still not sure. I'm holding out on a 3" lift because I still have the original Dunlops. And I cant afford to shell out over $700 on tires when I still got over 10k miles left on them.

I've been looking at Toytec lifts. The only thing holding me back from a 3" lift is those sh*t stock tires. I dont want to ride on those for 2 years with a lift. So Ive been thinking about just a 2" spacer or so and then add sliders. Then just wait on the lift til next Christmas.
