    I think you are pushing the boundaries, but that has always been a Tacoma thing to do. It’s why these trucks have so many mods available.

    I am surprised C4 or another one of the vendors doesn’t offer a solution. If more trucks start doing this, it will come.

    it wont be easy or cheap...

    my only holdup with cutting the core and tubing or boxing it is getting all the other shit that mounts to it to fit right.

    i am thinking a series of plates with bends and gussets to increase strength and rigidity

    So here is a question (just riffing here, I’m no expert).

    If you now have a steel bumper, can that not provide support to the front structure? Like work backwards from the bumper, or is there a negative to doing that?

    My gut says no. Bumpers move a shit ton. Unless u tied in way far back, by the frame, it wouldn't be worth it. That's just what I think. I'm no scientition though.
