NFL Trash Talkers Thread

Seems like a week of backpedaling for some of the better teams, not enough urgency. Also, it's a point in the season where some teams are just more desperate for a win to keep pace. It puts the niners squeaking by in perspective since they were soft on D but still found a way to win against a fired up Cardinals squad. The Chargers looked way more inspired than the Packers and I'm seeing similar action between the Ravens and Patriots. I wouldn't draw any long term conclusions from either game though. I need to see how the Seahawks managed to lose. I don't get full game coverage so don't have anything to say about the rest of the games. The early game I watched between the Steelers and Colts was hard fought but sloppy on both sides.

 

Line judge missed on that one, defensive players can twitch all they want. It certainly wasn't a neutral zone infraction.

 

I think the two just left...

Yeah just watched the highlights. I thought they were 7-1 going in. Facepalm.

Oh boy, a week of overreactions to look forward to. Nothing new I guess. The good teams that lost didn’t suddenly become bad for having a large helping of humble pie.

 

Lol classic patsies response. They played shit teams so far all year and get touted week in and week out for being "the best NFL defense" and they finally play a real team and don't show up at all. Not an over reaction. I'd say a very reasonable reaction.

 

Patriots gave up 37!!! So much for that shutout recently. Guess they’re not the best Defense in 15 years. Or 5 years, or whatever other claim was made lately. Tough loss? Not so much, considering how flat they looked during the few plays I saw. Only saw the first quarter.

 

Eh, I knew the Ravens would give us hell no matter the final score. Lamar is unlike any other QB they've played this year especially when he gets off to a hot start.

 

Good? Capable of making plays? Not Baker Mayfield?

 

Yes, other than the bills (who made a game of it) it was not like anyone else they have seen. It is a team above .500!
