Thanks, Chris! So far, I'm doing well. Last week I made a lot of progress, I'm going to ask the doc if I can start running again and hopefully playing soccer in the December season!

That's great, but if you want them to inspect the truck it's $35.

Oh and they might pull the same bullshit Toyota just did to me. Failed me for no middle seatbelt even though my title says 2 person vehicle. They said "well what if you put a car seat in it?" After I got done laughing, I said "I'm pretty sure that's illegal, plus a child would have their feet right where my shifter is".

So now I have filed a complaint with the RMV and they will have someone else do a "referee" inspection of the truck. I plan to have the title in hand that day and if they uphold the station's decision I'll then ask why their own paperwork says it's 2 seats.

I got “failed” at Toyota of Westboro because I had SAE/DOT legal White LEDs in my license plate lights but they didn’t come from the factory. They wouldn’t put an R on it nor would they pass it.

I just got the wife's 4runner inspected on the 31st. I've replaced all replaceable outside bulbs with LED's and inside too. Suspension and tinted windows.

@DrFunker gave me a little place to check out a year or two ago. They have passed my truck and this 4 runner twice no issues. $35 cash to the man and I'm in and out in under 15 minutes.

On the other hand, I went to a place in the town I grew up in and they started pulling out the tint measuring devices and asking questions. I won't ever be going back to that place even with a stock car.

I hope so! I did some running around and playing soccer with my little ones last weekend which was good. Last weekend felt pretty good, first time being able to be up and actually doing something in a couple weeks. All in all, not a terrible recovery, I'm just being impatient.
I can't stand places like that. I get why they do it, it's just ridiculous. The shop I've been going to is like yours. I'm in and out in about 15 minutes and they've never even asked me any questions. I'm there a few times a week because I buy all my gas from them (which, with the Super Duty, is quite a bit), I've gotten to know the owner of the place and the shop guys, they're a decent little shop.

Its a little late but short update from last month.

My father joined me last month as we road-tripped from upstate NY to southern VA for overland expo east. I got the complete overland experience driver pass as a gift from the inlaws. I invited my father along and he took a two week vacation coming out from Illinois to visit. We traveled down, stopping at DC, Shenandoah park, and some civil war sites.

The expo was just about everything I thought it would be. Lots of people more concerned with gear than experiences. With that said, the "experience pass" was worth the trip. We took several good classes learning about everything from using a compass to reading different types of maps, triangulating your position, planning routes on paper vs digitally, how to select and drink water for drinking and many more. These were very well taught classes with very helpful instructors that were mostly available all weekend.
After hearing people's stories and gaining resources for further learning, I feel much more confident in blazing out on my own now. Here were a couple nice rigs I saw. I was able to pick up an ARB compressor for about $45 cheaper than I've seen it. I also grabbed an arb awning for $90 less than Amazon pricing and also accidentally was given the deluxe model with the optional LED lighting. No more mooching air off of people after finishing the trail.

No kidding. Why couldn't they keep up what they were doing in the 2nd quarter?

The defense played like a normal team finally but the offense couldn’t do a damn thing. Hard to win games without scoring often. Missed way too many opportunities.

The offense completed a few passes that resulted in touchdowns! Unfortunately to the wrong team.

Random question for y'all, does anyone know what happened to mods T-rex266 and jberry813? They both have strike-through across their names.

No idea of the name or point of this new art piece in downtown north Adams, but I’m going to name it “ode to the d-ring”21E6A617-E5A8-4E75-8352-5AA2D5749594.jpg
