The Cummins engine also isnt built by Ram. Cummins Turbo Technologies is their own company. Technically you can get a Cummins engine in a Ford if you go up to a 650.

 

I know that, but Cummins is what makes ram really good, ford used a another engine then began making their own engines to, but it took the 3rd attempt before they got it right!
