Morning fella's. Got to do some light trail riding and enjoy the out doors on Sunday to check out our new deer lease. Was so busy this weekend, I'm glad to be back at work seating behind a computer

 

Didn't get very many pics of the new ride this weekend...spent too much time driving and reading to learn about it but here it is. Overall was in better shape than expected except for the tires. They are still the stock BFG KOs and are close to end of life so they are going to need replaced in about 8-10k miles which will be time for small lift and little bigger tires.

 

when do you go in to/get off work? I should get off early enough to get rides in before sundown.

 

No, my WIFE scored a Yeti cooler as you can tell by the color. I had intentions of using my bank for financing but when I got less than 3% interest I changed to them quickly!

 

ah gotcha yeah I'm off at 230-3 every day so still have a little daylight.

 

One of my best friends got married on Saturday so if course I had to flex a little

Look for a mix of sun and clouds today with a high in the 60s; tonight will be mostly cloudy and not as cold as recent nights. A weak surface trough could squeeze out a few small showers over Southeast Alabama tonight or tomorrow morning, but most of the state will stay dry. Tomorrow will be partly sunny with a high close to 70 degrees.

REST OF THE WEEK: Wednesday will be dry and pleasant with a high close to 70, but clouds move in Thursday, and a cold front will bring rain to the state late in the day and into Thursday night. There won’t any surface based instability, so there is no risk of severe storms, and probably no thunder. Rain ends Friday, and the day will be much cooler with temperatures holding in the 50s. Rain amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch are expected… and the sky will begin to clear Friday night.

THE ALABAMA WEEKEND: Look for sunny cool days and clear cold nights. Lows Saturday and Sunday morning will be in the 35-42 degree range; the high Saturday will be in the upper 50s, followed by low 60s Sunday.

NEXT WEEK: A secondary surge of cool air arrives Monday… for now the air looks too dry for any meaningful precipitation with that cold front. Then, the weather looks cool and dry through mid-week. A cold front will bring a chance of showers late in the week on Friday.
