De-badged. Took a min but looks way better without the emblems.

Did you manage to get all residual adhesive off? I took off my V6 tailgate badge but when it gets dusty you can still see the outline.

Goof off or 3M Adhesive remover. Liquid wax and a PLASTIC razor blade for the large chunks.

use a heat gun, then wipe it down with some rubbing alcohol.

be careful with the heat gun, dont get it too hot and melt the paint

then polish it after with some polishing compound

3M Eraser Wheel if you want to skip the chemicals. removed the whole adhesive backing from a Pro side badge in less than 30 seconds, no chemicals.

Got new rims and tires installed last weekend.

Funny thing, I called around shops in our area how much to mount and balance rims and transfer my tpms from my oem rims to the new one and each shop I called wanted to charge extra for the tpms transfer and that they would need to reprogram them. Almost each shop I called wanted to charge me an extra of $80 - $140 to transfer the TPMS. One of the places I asked was the dealer where I got my truck. Seriously? lol

Luckily, my buddy knows a small tire shop who did the work for me and did charge me $5 extra per tpms and no need to reprogram them. Everything works fine.

I definitely like these tires a lot, my first choice for an all terrain, they are quiet and handle great in snow, rain, and mud. And best of all they look aggressive lol, also I liked them better then my previous set up which were KO2’s

Blow dryer to warm the adhesive, fishing line to get the emblem off, blow dryer to warm the adhesive again, fingered the big chunks off, Isopropyl alcohol worked great to remove the last bit. Buffed the area.

Yeah I would take the extra time and do that. I wouldn't use a red cord either, just draws more attention to it.

WD40, GooGone, or 3m Adhesive Remover (a little pricey for just the outline) will take care of that for you. Clean with a little car wash detergent and water, wax and you should be good to go.

Been some time since i've posted "what i've done" to my truck, because I haven't done anything..
Just installed a tan softopper and bought a refurbished M101 CAN military trailer to do more custom work to. for camping. Plan is to sleep in bed of truck and haul the rest in the trailer.

As for the trailer I bought it from a guy not far from where I live..
Refurbed it for hunting to haul carcasses. payed $4000. Most of them out there aren't in great shape and not refurbed at all and going for $2-3000
Great start for our needs. He sandblasted it, pro painted, upgrade suspension, 7000lb axle, tacoma hubs, LED lighting, 285,70,17 BFG's
