not happy with my weathertechs

My weathertech liners came yesterday. i was excited till i put them in. they dont sit flat along the door seals there bubbled up about 3/4 of an inch. other than that there great and look good. but to me thats a big deal for the 120$ i paid they should sit flat. probly gonna send them back.

 

maybe they just need to settle?? usaully they roll them up or crease them when shipping

 

yea i thought about that. they did come flat though not creased or folded i think ill give them a few days and see what happens maybe since its cold here there like that idk

 

could you try to put them in the house by a window where the sun could hit them. I've seen where some put them in the sun for a while and they reshape themselves.

 

Or pull a hairdryer or heat gun out to the truck and lay them where you want them and warm them up and gently mold them in

I have the Cabelas branded ones and they have saved the floorboard many times when my cooler tips over. Yours will settle into place once warmed up with the hair dryer and over time they settle in too better.

EDIT: I added some Pep Boys rubber heavy duty mats to the top of them. They have some deep ridges in them to hold water and mud and between the mats and the liners, the floor ain't getting wet.

 

hey dont get rid of them let them settle in i think their great i had them b4 in my old truck so i had 2 get them again 4 the taco

 

Mine did the same thing when I first got them. I figured it was just because they were cold and from being shipped in the box. They have settled since I put them in and I am loving them!

 

Yeah, like everyone else said! Leave them be for a few days. They'll lay down nicely for ya. I think you'll enjoy them.

nothing sucks as bad as the Toyota All-weather mats. I've been through 3 sets, they are made with the cheapest material that will wear within 6 months.

On the flip side, I've had Audi All-weather mats in my S4 for over 7 years, they look as good as the day I bought them, no wear at all, no holes.

WTF Toyota!?!

I got Weathertech Floorliners for winter use last week.Cold day.
The passenger side mat area that goes under the door was lifting up preventing the door closing.
A hair dryer did the trick in a minute.
Great mats.

go to cabeas and order the trail gear 2 mats they are by far the best mats out there.

 

i think weather tech makes these. about $99.00 for the fronts
