Damn @Jerneyman, just watched the video of me tagging the tree and I am very impressed with the bumper! I rattled that thing hard! Only knocked some paint off.

@JBTacoma Bob did catch you light weighting your suspension up at the crevice. I'll see what I can do to find some time to get them online.

 

That's awesome man. Always a nice thing when stuff holds up like it should. Except for that paint. Lol.

What do you guys use for tire deflators here? I got a chance to use a guy's rapid tire deflator similar to the ARB one that removes the valve core, I liked it quite a lot.

 

I have a the boulder tools version of the ARB and like it.

 

Pretty much all of those on Amazon look like ARBs just slightly different. I'm sure they were all manufactured in the same factory at the very least. So you haven't had any problems with it?

 

Is that the one you let me use to deflate mine at Chocco that time? If so, I want something similar!

 

Did you go wheeling at Hawk's Pride this weekend? My co-worker said he thought that he saw your truck heading over there this weekend with a couple of Jeeps. I said "Naw he wouldn't we out running with some Jeepers, haha"

no problems at all. I almost bought the trailhead ones that Jeff has, but I wanted the ability to set my pressure on the fly instead of having a set pressure.

 

Yep. That was me. I was riding with some coworkers from my group here at work. Had to show them a Taco can more than keep up with all the jeeps.

I've got some of the set it and forget it type but I just don't like having to wait for them to air down and then hope the pressure is still correct from when I set them. Good to know yours is working out well for you though.

 

How'd your truck do? As good as you thought it would?

Oh yeah. I was climbing rock shelves much easier than the jeep on 35s was due to the fact I never lost traction on the rear end. I don't think I ran across anything that had me flexed completely out. I will be trying more difficult trails next weekend. Only thing I was having issues with last Friday was the deep ruts through the mud holes. I was dragging my rear diff quite a lot. Only way to fix that is bigger tires.

 

I'll send you an invite next time. Wasn't my trip to set up this go around, and I'd never been wheeling with them before. Turns out we had a good time even though they were jeepers. Lol.

nah. Skip 35s and go straight to 37s.

 

I think 35s is my limit for this truck. Lol. I've got a lot of work ahead of me to properly stuff some 35s, even more for 37s.
