    I do have the kit. I *think* I wired intermittent power. It’s been a while. I’ll wait until Meso gets back from SEMA and see what he’s doing for production of the new injection molded switches.

    I'd like to do this mod with my 2nd shifter button. Will the anytime camera kit be needed? I don't have it but I am not against a DIY route.

    Technically, no? Probably not, but you'd have to buy harnesses and wiring if you don't want to tap into stock wiring. You'll also need a relay and some RCA cable to hook up camera inputs to your head unit. Plus one or more buttons. I try and DIY whenever I can, but for something like this, I think it makes sense to go with the kit unless you can get a sweet deal on Toyota parts. Pretty easy to hook up.

    @MESO will it be possible for those of us who purchased your version 1 to just purchase the new switches only (not shift knob or wiring...and assuming the new ones can simply replace the old ones).
