NFL Trash Talkers Thread

It was good to see Brady looking his age last night! I think BB knows this team is lacking in talent and that is why we have seen all the moves this season, a lot even for the Pats. It was a matter of time until they were exposed, they will maybe lose one or two more games in the regular season. Everything will have to go through NE in the playoffs and they will make a game of it. They are coached better than anyone else and I think BB knew if they went 16-0 this would happen in the first round of the playoffs. This is all part of BB master plan I suspect. I do think they will get beaten in the playoffs this year if the opponents stay healthy though. Best part of it all is seeing TB get old and start to show it!

Not a pats fan Mr typical, nor a packers fan, or a Seattle fan. My team won but as with several other top teams wasn't as good as they had been in previous weeks. The Ravens are good but they had losses too. The Chargers are decent but nobody in their right mind would claim they had a better record than the Packers. It was pretty obvious that some teams played with more intensity and some with more urgency while others didn't bring it. It was pretty clear the Pats didn't fold up the tent but that the Ravens played 4 quarters of better football. The fumble for 6 was critical since at that point in the game the Patriots had little trouble moving or scoring. Even if they'd scored it would not have been enough but it would have been closer. The Packers looked much worse by comparison losing badly to a sub .500 team and while the Seahawks won, it was in overtime against the 2-6 Buccaneers. Good teams lose and even bad teams win.

 

I think the point is that everyone was awarding another crown to the Pats though they have not played anyone remotely worth a damn other than the Bills. Yet all you hear about is how the D is the best ever and how TB is the 2nd coming of Jesus. The difference in all the teams you listed and the Pats is they have actually played several teams worth a shit and proven something. When it comes to the Pats no one bothers to look at who they have beaten and it is all you hear about. Last night was not the Pats having a poor game, it was them being exposed because they actually had to play some opposition. You know, what most teams have to do 4 out of five games.

It is not that the Pats had a poor showing, it was that 7 of the 8 wins they had came from teams with a combined 7 wins on the entire season leading to the mid point. Just like when the Ravens went up by 10 in the first quarter and the commentators said "but this D only allows 8 points a game" well when you play trash yeah! That is why we are all sick of hearing it.

On a side note: My wife's family is from the Bay area and all I have heard about for the last 5 years is what devout Warriors fans they are though until they started winning I never heard them bring it up. Man, this year is going to be a lot of fun. I keep calling her people saying "bro, did you catch the Warriors game"! LOL.... It's fun. Last year they would not come over unless they could watch the game. This year they show up and I am like, hey the game is on. Let me find it for you.

You should just stop because Patriot fans are always right and know everything! And their team only cheated because all teams cheat! The Patriots are perfect and so are all the fans! Everybody else is always wrong!

 

Eh. The niners have at least faced somewhat “decent” teams. They beat the NFC champions (yes, the rams aren’t what they were last year, still better than any the pats played), also the panthers (not a great team but also not jets/dolphins status either).
