    Looks like the gusset underneath isn't up to the wheel weight. Or the tube itself could be larger in dia. or thicker walled. Maybe run the backing plate up high enough for a second gusset on top. The single gusset definitely flexed on hits allowing the tube to crack there. Seems like a stronger design would have the square vertical tube run up high enough for gussets above and below with the tube drilled through both walls and welded front and back.

    Does anyone has any experience with aftermarket ABS speed sensors? Price varies by a lot from site to site and vendor to vendor. Or just buy it from the stealership? They want $329.00 and otphj :jerkoff:. Found one on carparts.com for 130 bucks, but not sure if it is any different than OEM.

    Any of you Santa Rosa residents been to Yodaman before? I’ll be in town Friday for work and he could swap my springs(600 to 650) on Fox 2.5 coilovers for $140.

    Yes I did! He wants $195 for it. I have been looking online and see some cheap sensors for $15 and under. I am very tempted to order one and see how it works, but don't want to keep replacing them if they are crappy.

    500 mile change after Nitro 4.56 install. this is the rear magnet.

    unfortunately the driver side CV busted and grease is starting to spray. there's also some gear oil leaking out somewhere by the diff. i can't tell where it's coming from. hopefully from where the CV goes into the diff and not somewhere else that will require going back to the shop.

    should i get a Napa axle and rebuild the OEM?

    Couldn't you just get an OEM reboot kit, pull it out, reboot, and then reinstall? That would be the cheapest route.

    I went with the Napa and warranty. Some go with Autozone.

    OEM is most definitely manufactured to a higher standard. The uniformity of the constant velocity joint is bar none when attempting to compare to aftermarket. The machining, parts, materials are all of a higher mark. OEM cv axles will suffer higher stress angles for a longer duration versus the aftermarket. The list can go on. The price is high(factory parts always are) but online dealers are easy to find for discounts.

    Rebooting factory is always a better(albeit more tedious task) option than the aftermarket lure of a $40 lifetime cv...

    That seems super high to me. I swapped 600 for 650 on my coilovers using Harbor Freight death compressors at home. Might be worth looking into, I know they are sketchy and a pain to get the adapters between the springs, but only cost $25 and a bit of my time.

    You can get CVJ axels for tad bit cheaper than OEM ones. They rebuilt OEM toyota axels.

    Did you go from 13in to 14in springs as well? I had several members told me the same thing. They quoted me an hour of work and with their spring compressor, its probably 20min of work tops. Just need to move the collar up an inch. I will give it some more thought. I guess my initial thought is, will the death compressors fit the springs.
