Just wanted to point out the new headunit has the Toyota DCM in it. Been reading up on how tightly it's integrated which may affect functionality compared to the 16-19 if it's removed from the vehicle, but if anyone here knows details on it please share. Curious if we can definitively disable dcm.

For that kind of money I would rather have ones of the turbos coming out for a comparable amount of money.

I have a 2020 and factory upgrade radio is not worth it. I prefer my Alpine and am waiting for a maestro wiring kit to be available.

Haha I'm sure someone will pay you top dollar for yours when you make the switch.

I had a feeling that this was going to be the case. I was interested in the switch if it was a reasonable price. No way would I pay more than $1500. If it's not a substantial upgrade anyway you'd be out of your mind to pay $4-5k for one. Buying a new truck would be cheaper.

Yup the ROI just isn't there to justify it.

Guys...the t9 is awesome. Im not even listinging to music anymore, im watching music videos instead. Audio and video are better than stock. Wired and wireless carplay. You lose only a few stock functions like music in the center console but you can add pretty much any app on the google play store. Netflix, waze, fb, as well as customizable launcher. Best thing is the pricepoint with a no hassle return policy. $380

For that kind of money I’ll keep the $5k in the bank. Others should use it for 10 truck payments.
