Has anyone else noticed conventional oil becoming harder to get?

Walmart is now only carrying their recycled Supertech garbage and Royal purple....the RP is $36 a gallon

I like 5w30 valvoline conventional for older vehicles...the only place I have seen it around me is Advanced Auto and i checked their stock online, It says they are out.

If you haven't seen it or even heard of it. I recommend watching a documentary called Free Solo. It's about a rock climber named Andrew Honnold who climbs El Capitan in Yosemite National Park with no safety gear at all. All 3000 ft of it. Great story.

Kind of new here-ish. Next step for the taco is BLHM the headlights, and 2" lift with 265's. Anyone getting good deals on 265/75's anywhere around here?

Full trd pro suspension. Toytec progressive add-a-leaf pack (with overload in). Sema trd 4runner rims. 285 70 17 ridge grapplers. Satoshi grill.
Every manufacturer is switch to atleast semi synthetic. Mainly so they can run thinner viscosity and still get protection with less resistance to get that added fuel economy. Newer model Honda and Toyota are as thin as 0w-16 as a factory viscosity

Big industry secret....any oil with lower viscosity of 10w-30 is atleast 70% synthetic even if it doesn't say it. If the rating is SN or later it's mostly synthetic

Ever since my lifted 1985 Toyota 4x4 that I drove back in the mid 90's I've always driven a Toyota truck since then. They've treated me so good Ive never had a reason to buy anything else. I hear stories all the time from former Toyota owners that said they never should have strayed away from the reliability of Toyota.

I’m still skeptical to change my 231k mile 4runner to synthetic after its spent 20 years on conventional....

30% is still a large margin

Watched it on my flight to go hike and camp Yosemite this past summer. He has several older films that are excellent. This most recent just got the most popular. Incredible piece of rock El Cap is.

Edit - I meant Yosemite. I went to both Yosemite and Yellowstone this year and switch the names every time :anonymous:
