Can someone point me in the direction of a shop or individual that can tune my MAPECU3 please?

They list people on their website but the one near me won't return my calls. It's frustrating. Have money, will spend and no one wants to step up.

I think pretty much everyone one here running the MAPECU tunes themselves. What mods are you running? The URD supercharger?

I have no clue how to tune unfortunately. Yes, the URD kit.

Learn. That's what we do. Then you're not stuck having to go to a shop whenever anything needs adjusted. The kit should have come with a base tune, so I'd hope that it isn't horribly far off.

Do you have a wideband o2 sensor/gauge setup?

My biggest issue is getting it loaded on my laptop and working. Once I have that step down I guess I'll try. It's pissing me off.

It did come with a base tune but I've upgraded the header, exhaust and pulley to an 80mm so I'm thinking it needs some tuning.

I do have an AFR but it is a POS innovate that keeps eating sensors. I have it mounted between the 9-3 position in a heat sink behind the first cat so it's not me. I guess I'm gonna have to buy an AEM. Innovate asked me to send it back so maybe they can do something with it. All that said, the AFRs seem ok but I think it runs rich. I see a puff of black smoke when I dig into it sometimes.

I've got a meth injection kit in my PP cart as we speak. I'm still kicking around whether I want to add it or not. This ecu not self tuning has me paranoid as shit. Last thing I need is a blown motor.

What kind of sensors you running? Bosch lsu 4.9 by chance?

Heres a good reference guide to get some densos in there. I try to run denso everything for my sensors. I have bosch ones that came with my afr gauges and they were toast after 3 months. I never changed them, but readings are all over the place

Yes, the 4.9. The last one came from Innovate at no charge. It didn't last 3 weeks.

Its likely just crappy bosch sensors theyre sending you, its not your gauge making the sensors go bad. I recommend trying to upgrade to some denso's

I'm running a PLX Device wideband and haven't had any issues with the sensors. I've had it in the truck for over a year now.

I looked at those when I bought mine. I obviously made the wrong choice. Funny how I am never able to find issues with something until after I buy it.

I have a Innovate WB on my truck and it works great. Plumbed in before the Cat. Maybe try moving its position.

I am gonna try another brand sensor first. I may also take it back to the shop to make sure they wired it correctly. Maybe there is something else going on. Who knows?

I have run it with and without a heat sink in front of the first cat after the header and behind the first cat. Always between the 9 and 3 o clock position. I think I am gonna scrap it and order and AEM X series with a denso sensor.

I didn't fully answer your question before, sorry. I have the URD kit, 80mm pulley, cats removed, AFE catback, LCE header and AFE Pro Dry S filter.

I'd highly recommend tuning the mapecu3 yourself. I've had mine for 5 years. Plus you can learn how your truck works with boost. Just a laptop, wideband with a 0-5v output, and way to check your fuel trims would be perfect. I'd recommend a plx, but just get a nice sensor for your innovate. I have a depo racing wideband just because the footprint is very small, but the gauge is kinda dying out from the sun and my abuse.

I tuned a turbo on a 2rz with 550cc primary injectors with an ebcs at 15psi. Not too familiar with the setup of the urd.
The worst part is the setup and getting used to the glitches. Also the mapecu does not self tune. It has self learn which is faster to make a base tune by yourself instead of using that function.

As soon as I can get a decent laptop and mapcal properly downloaded I'll try it. I've tried multiple times on windows 7 to no avail. It seems like a complete Charlie Foxtrot. Hopefully I can get it running.
