Make sure you block the old vacuum hose ports on the diff tube. I learned the hard way what happens when muddy water gets in there. It needs to be sealed up with a breather ran as high as possible. 20190202_165807.jpg 20190202_164347.jpg 20190202_103842.jpg

I'm pretty sure I've seen a write up for a manual hub swap for a 2and gen on here. I'll see if I can find it.

The less electronics in the drivetrain, the better imo. But I also tend to go though mud and water a lot. Lol

It is. That's where I should have attached the breather hose. You live and you learn.

well I changed the fuel filter put in the 02 simulator and I bypassed the knock sensor for now by wiring/soldering it to the bank 1 sensor wire. put in a new set of lower temp plugs with new plugwires and she is running good again. I also had to go back to my 2.37 stock pulley from the urd 2.2 until I figure out why its leaning out so badly. Pretty sure I just need to drop my tank and install the 190lph pump( was hoping to not have to do it)

Yeah man sounds like you’re doing everything you can? Maybe Supra injectors ? I’m just guessing all my stuff is either NA or nitrous. Have you asked the guys at URD for some help?

ya I got Gadgets help with other stuff. It started throwing the codes late yesterday afternoon when the urd guys were already gone for the weekend ... from research I think im understanding this right -with the 7th injector it takes over delivering the bulk of the fuel then the computer has the other 6 deliver what more is needed for each injector/cylinder ... which is good because that supercharger needs to be cooled down..(wish there was an intercooler)earlier fri morning I just installed the 9"x 17" "Runcool Hood louvers" to try and let the heat out of the hood and am thinking about putting in a set to get more air in under the hood to push more heat out

Been seeing this on occasion while researching an aux fuse panel... how many of you would fuse the relay signal/control wire (#86 on relay leads to pin #3 on most switches)?

Not everyone does it/mentions it but I've come across a few that do. Wondering just how necessary this is...

hey Ken I'm about to install MESO's 3rd brake light. requires rewiring the ground to avoid interference between bed lights, HU, and the fob (or somesuch).

    simple question:
I'll be running a section of 10ga to a new grounding location. does it matter multi or single strand for a ground wire like this?

All circuits need to be fused as close to their source of power as possible.

Multi strand is the only wire you want to use in a vehicle, it handles vibration far better.

As mentioned before all circuits should be fused. That being said the amount of current that is required to energize the coil inside of a relay is very small. It’s up to you if you want fuse it and it will depend on the circuit. I use very small multi conductor wire for my relay triggers because it’s nice to have all my triggers run through one wire.

    Agreed
If you’re referring to solid copper wire I wouldn’t use that on automotive. It’s mainly for homes/ac

stranded is the way to go

My brother made some progress. All the main connections are made up on the Aux. Panel. Update over here
