Wilson is pretty good on the run though. Cardinals almost beat them with a mobile QB...Wilson might actually be able to pull it off. Plus, Hawks are undefeated on the road this year. Turns out the 12th man isn't as important as everyone makes it out to be.

Refs were bound and determined to fuck us tonight. Some seriously bullshit, one-sided personal foul calls

but, Cowboys won, my fantasy team won, and life is good.

Win once and you're good win a bunch and you're a cheater. There's too much of this "anything is better than giving credit where it's due" going around, it smacks of weak character. I've sat through 5 years of it as a dubs fan. Excuse after excuse after excuse. At some point you have to sit back and wonder at a run that dwarfs any other in football history by a mile. I don't even like the Patriots but it isn't an accident, or cheating, ar a fluke, or a weak division, or any of the many other lame excuses for not recognizing hard work, dedication, and outrught brilliance. The toll it took on Bill Walsh to push the franchise was such that he could not sustain it for even half as long. The length of run the 49ers enjoyed was due to passing the torch to George Siefert and even adding his contribution it doesn't measure up. Whether the Patriots run extends through the playoffs to the Superbowl or not do yourself the solid of enjoying what remains of an iconic career, one that will remain legendary and in well deserved company with any of the remarkable players, coaches, or teams to have left their mark on the field. Or be just another small minded jelly fan too full of disgust over their own teams short comings to be able to enjoy any of the phenominally talented other teams and players we get to watch. You're choice, Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Sherman,(and the younger QB's looking to join their illustrious ranks) or the place markers like Fitzpatrick. I know who the haters will choose and I have to say nothing in sports is quite as lame as their choice. Being a fan of a particular team doesn't have to mean you are required to hate every other one, just the Rams and the Cowboys. :typing:

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Yeah, so I hope you feel better after laying that out for me but you are wrong. If I have time tomorrow I will tell you why, it starts with an historically weak divesion, having absolutely zero morals pertaining to the players you hire. Mostly however it is the entitled fan base that cannot have an educated conversation or handle defeat. I give BB all the credit in the world, it is TB who just does not deserve it. Also when you get caught cheating like a lot you are in fact a cheater.

Also the whole smug asshole thing the Pats have is a turnoff for me. I mean dude Brady was paid to push Ugg boots for men. I mean, I am never getting onboard with that.

I get it, your butt is seriously sore. Their division doesn't play them in the superbowl. You just can't handle losing so you have to diminish the accomplishments of your betters. I hate everything about the Seahawks but I still respect what they've accomplished. I don't hate Rodgers, or Brees even though the whole QB targeting thing was imho the most egregious, fucked, ban the coach and owner from all sports forever thing ever and makes deflate gate a footnote, the dude has talent that I can appreciate. Maybe it's easier to be humble after one win than it is after several. Successful athletes start out confident, I'm ok with them being human enough to get a bit drunk on success if they have the talent and work hard enough to repeat when others can't even make the show. Superhuman talent doesn't necessitate, or promote Mother Theresa or Ghandiesque character or restraint. Joe Namath was a self absorbed prick, likewise James Brown, so what, I'm not looking at them as role models unless they earn that aside from their accomplishments. Any player who strives for greatness is going to be that way to some extent. Joe Montana wasn't a particulary generous mentor to Steve Young. Ask Aaron Rodgers about his relationship with Bret Favre. Go hump your losing teams mascot if it makes you feel better.

Us talking about the Patriots is like the media always talking about the Kardashians. Just don’t talk about them for fucks sake. Let those convos DIE. If this thread had just the 2 Pats fans talking about the Pats, it’ll be a lot easier to read this thread. Less bullshit to read.

    Carry on :D
