    I know the feels. At one point in its life my CJ-7 got 5 MPG. I think I've got it up to 9mpg now with just 33" all terrains on it. Those numbers are a bitch when you've got a 13-gallon tank. I remember filling up 4 times on the way to the Outer Banks from Richmond. Yeesh. I was also 17, gas was $1.25, and nothing mattered.

    It is a given that I am old. But when I was in high school, I worked in a gas station. I remember getting into a "gas war" with the station on the opposite corner. Prices got as low as $0.199/gal.
