Had mine since Sept. and can say in my 40 min daily commute can name on both hands how many I've seen around here. Kind of scarce around Columbus anyway. 2nd Gen that is.:)

You never notice how many people have a certain car/truck until you have one yourself!

I usually see 5 to 10 on my way to work, 25 to 30 if you count the ones I see driving by the dealership

Not Counting Dealerships. But Like BGreene Said you never notice how many people have a truck until you have one.

2 or 3. This is SC, it's NASCAR country and Toyota isn't really a popular make around here.

The funny thing is, there's an older security guard where I work who bought the exact same truck. I let him test drive mine and he loved the color so much he bought the same. So, I get to see a duplicate of mine 5 days a week, lol!

Dude, that's not true down here. I see the same 2 or 3 in my work parking lot & subdivision, Plus I see a few different ones during everyday driving. I finally saw one like mine...white DC, LB Sport. Plus, there are more Tundra's than you can shake a stick at. We do have 2 Toyota dealerships in this area, although I go to Orangeburg Toyota.

Ya, stop driving with your eyes closed! But then again, I'm a FedEX guy. The heavy stuff, lots of highway driving. I lose count. Just driving from Columbia down to Orangeburg you couldn't cross the street without getting clobbered by one. I made my final choice 'cause a customer of mine has a white PreRunner. I liked it and started up again on the thought process. (psssst....he even has a Nascar sticker in the back window).

Isn't Toyota into Nascar? I think I've seen atleast one Toyota truck in the Craftsman Series. I could be wrong though, this is of course the south

Went to the dealer bright and early this morning, got the first oil change. To my surprise, I get 3 free services and 1 tire rotation. Looking forward to the next 3000 miles and then onto synthetic.

Ervin Toyota in Lugoff,Sc has a used 2006 XRunner, Speedway Blue for $17,500 if interested. Just passing it along.

I see about 3 or 4 but I live in northern Michigan so almost every one has some kind of truck or 4x4 because of the snow

I see quite a bit here in Tucson. I also see a few on my compute to campus, about 10 or more. When I see them, I say "Oh-TACOMA!" There is no reason why I say it, I just do.

You guys know as well as I do that the "I only buy domestic" mentality is alive and well around here. Maybe you don't leave the state much but if you go somewhere like NJ or FL, you see a heck of a lot more Toyota's than you do here in SC. So, no, you don't see as many in SC as you do elsewhere.

Yes, Toyota is in both Craftsman and Nextel but this is what, the second year for Nextel? I can't tell you how many born and raised southerners I've spoken to that simply won't root for a team driving a Toyota. If it isn't Ford, GM, or Dodge, forget it.

I drove around for an hour and a half this morning doing errands (just got home) and I didn't see one. I made it a point to look but nope, nothing.

i'll agree that you dont see as many as you do of the big 3...HOWEVER...i still see way too many to try and count...hell i went to a buddy's house last night for a party and 3 of us had tacomas...of course they all wanted me to park in the woods in the back yard because mine made theirs look bad...but still...3 just at one party in one night...

^LOL! Park in the woods, that's great. I find that a lot of folks I run into with Toyota's moved here from out of state. I work with about 1000 people and everyone I can think of but one who drives a Toyota is from elsewhere. That one guy drives a Tundra. It is catching on, though. At least I don't get the comments and stares I used to, like I'm Quasimoto or something.
