yeah, i've wanted one too. I can't see myself giving 300 plus for something that will become more of a mantle piece.

I don't find rc crawling that fun though it's interesting, but there's no risk so WOT everywhere. I know there's series that do calculated points though and I've watched a video or two about it. I think racing would be more fun like they do on what appears to be bmx tracks though.

Lots of things I want to do in the next year and don’t want bent spring hangers. The BAMF ones can be had for $260 shipped with the Black Friday discount

 

Orrrr just buy parts now for the 63 swap. Took me a while to acquire all the parts and really decide on everything.

 

I won’t do something like that until my truck is paid off. 1 year out

Acquire parts for a year. It took me about 3-4 months of solid planning and purchasing to get everything, then I had to figure out when I had time to do the 36 hour install.

But I see your point with the hangers. If you can get your money back in the end, go for it.

 

Weld a couple test pieces then beat the hell out of them with a 20 lb sledge hammer and see what breaks. You'll trust your welds more once you do that.

I literally can’t wait any longer to get new leaf springs. I ride on my bump stops 100% of the time with just my tent and cooler in the bed and that just isn’t cutting it anymore.

 

I bet your AALs are broken like mine.

that does look awesome, those guys got a lot of time and money in that if that was one of my big hobbies sure. I've just got so much other hobbies I'd rather do.

What do you guys do for heaters when camping near your truck? Only time I camp for real is when I backpack and I accept the fact I won't be super comfortable, but I'll be camping this weekend with the low getting down to 30 both nights at a campsite so I've got the option for the amenities.

 

my tent stays darn warm on it own. Don’t need much else

 

What tent you got?

 

Little buddy heater hooked to a 20lb propane tank. Put the tank in a milk crate, that will keep it from rolling all over.

 

What size do you have? If I go that route I'll probably just use the 1lb tanks for this trip to make sure everything works right before I'm stuck with a 20lb tank.
