Also what does FTW stand for. I see that on a lot of posts too. Forgive my ignorance here guys and gals.

Interesting about the "F.T.W." take on that as when I was younger and moving around on two wheels it definitely meant something else completely different.

    Playing it straight....

You know what rock crawling is, right? Over the rocks niiiiice and sloooooow, avoiding any body damage. So, a truck purpose built for that is a rock crawler.

On the other hand, a truck purpose built for driving reak slow down to the mall, posin, and picking up chicks, well, that's your mall crawler.

Think it doesn't exist? I was talking to a well known installer in this area, and he said most of the trucks he builds don't actually go off road.

Any abbrev that begins with 'F' has an alternative meaning. But FTW is "For The Win."

A mall crawler will have steps instead of sliders and AT instead of MT tires. Also likely to have high color temp hid lights, on road only double Din navigation, and be lifted but 2 wheel drive... and not long travel. Oh and don't forget a booming sound system.

"A mall crawler is any truck or suv that's hella lifted and that's got like 33's. But the difference is not a spec of dirt can be found on it showing that it's not actually used for off road. The name comes from the word rock crawler which is a truck actually used for offroad rock crawling. -Also known as a street princess -Also known as a small penis"

"Chrome rims and to much lift along with no front drive shaft.. Make this a certifiable Mall Crawler"

I believe that the term "bro-dozer" has also been used to describe mall crawlers.
