Wasn't much work on my end...but I've wanted a softopper and a hard folding tonneau cover ever since i bought my truck. Found used softopper locally 2 weeks ago and snagged a Rugged Liner folding tonneau off Amazon last week.

Spent a few years waiting to find a deal on them and then somehow found them both for a crazy good price within a week of each other.

Softopper should be on most summers when we're off camping often, and the tonneau should be on there the rest of the season.

Anyone running wheelers 8 pack that have had trouble with driveline vibes? I’ve had the packs on for well over 6 months now but have just felt the vibes after getting new tires. My other MTs were so worn out I couldn’t even tell the vibes were there.

Might need some shims between the leaf pack and axle to help with driveshaft angle, or maybe check your carrier bearing, spacer might help with that too.

Quick question guys. Anyone got that link close for the silicone hose kit for the 3.4? I’ve seen it around haven’t looked hard enough yet.

    Looking for some help;

recently tried shifting into 4hi-4lo on a very lose and rocky hill. No dash light indicator to say t case has been engaged. Tried locking rear diff and dash light just blinks. Rear wheel kept slipping and from what I could see out the driver window the front driver side axle was not engaging.

Climbed under truck and there is no visible problem with t case or axles or wiring/plugs going to top/side of t case.

what should I start looking at now?

    TIA.

I have a CB drop I’m going to try, and I’ve thought about shims. I’ve been looking at this thread I found in the 2nd gen forum on measuring angles to determine what size shim. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/drive-shaft-vibrations-solved-step-by-step.244535/page-2. Didn’t know if may be a common problem with the wheelers 8 pack. Also have gone back and made sure my U-Joints were all in the correct phase after installing a new CB and 4wd driveshaft

do you have an auto or manual?
J-stick transfer or 2-4 select with push button?
    Were you moving or stopped?
Grey wire or Blue plug mods?
ADD with auto hubs or manual swap?

4hi was engaged already with a dash light? And then when you shifted to 4lo it wouldn’t engage?

I don't think the light indicates your tcase being engaged as that's all mechanical. It's either in the lo position or not. From my understanding it is signalling that the ADD has engaged the passenger axle.

You should be able to tell if it's in low range by the slow speed. If it is indeed in low then it's almost certainly your actuator isn't in the correct position.

Sorry if I’m confusing. Let me try to clear up a few things.

The dash light that I never saw was the green light lower right side of dash that looks like axles&wheels

When I attempted to lock the rear axle with the xfer case in 4lo the red e-locker light just blinks. Again, still no green axles/wheels light.

That light should turn on as soon as you go into 4 hi, not just 4 low.

Sounds like your ADD actuator isn't working. Without that working and it thinking it's in 4wd, you won't be able to use the locker, unless you have the grey wire mod.

20 tons of force wouldn't separate the hub from the wheel bearing... But it did explode the bearing into two.
