    Just went shopping, snowbird couple looks at me, stops their cart right in my path. I get to them,.stop, he looks at me and starts talking to her. I clear my throat loudly, he looks at me and starts talking again. "Excuse me". "Oh, you want to get by?" "Please? I really don't want to watch you shop".....

    3 weeks to the day of my surgery and I got to see what they put in me. Doc said the big screw is 10mm (width, not length). Hopefully they never have to touch it again because how in the hell are they going to find a 10mm socket?!

    About the same timeframe there was a moratorium on warbirds of a certain age, from an accident or something.. It lasted a couple of years and by then he'd moved his whole operation to Douglas Ga and ended up hip deep in the XP-82 project, by then they wouldn't even give him a ferry permit..

    BTW, we got both radials running today and the wings extended and retracted for the last time!
