I don't have experience with the Mission MXR, but I bought my son a Mission Riot in 2014. Mission makes a DAMN fine bow. No, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as an $1,100 Mathews. But his bow tuned easily, it's quieter than a mouse fart, sends a 420gr arrow down range at about 275fps. Broadheads and field points all same POI out to forty yards. He's put 3 deer on the ground in the last two years. It's a solid, solid, bow. All told, sight, rest, quiver, I think I had $700 in his setup.

    Bow only is $500.
For $850, it would need some decent add ons. (Imo)

I kinda look at it like this...I paid too much for my truck, but I like it so I really don't care.
I would shoot as many different ones as you can and pick the one that you are the most comfortable with. If the price is fine with you, it's worth what you pay.

Yea It's all about the feel to me. Why I'm still shooting my elite e35 I just haven't shot anything that feels better yet.

E35 is probably the best bow Elite ever produced. I had a couple and loved each then they changed to new models and had to change. I still have 2 Victorys down stairs just waiting to be shot. I fell in love with the Mathews Wake and grabbed one of them for a hunting bow befor the last surgery and haven't got to hunt with it yet.

Now see I'd love to have one of those. I had a Browning until I broke a limb tip and almost shot my wife in the ass so never got another one

I can't shoot a recurve for shit. Watching someone that knows what they're doing is pretty impressive.
