ok i can accept that i guess!

you should note that if you allowed all of that to go on in my area of the country it would eventually become one sickly looking rusty crusty bucket
i have to do what i can to keep it looking tipTop as best as i can, it has costed me a fair amount of total expenditure for it thus far

 

run channel is the rubber piece that seals your windows!

 

I keep the LC clean, waxed once every other month or not at all in winter cause why bother, and the Z gets wax whenever I feel like it (paint is donezo up close anyway), the taco I'm not sure yet..... it's white so it should be single stage paint and keep clean easy.

its also something i do not ever wish to replace after ripping one out at the salvage yard to see what a hassle it would be

 

You should just throw a tarp over you truck in a sealed sea can and leave it for someone to enjoy

anyways, i thought i might be of some help is all with this part that is exposed to the sun most all the time unless you only drive at night!
perhaps a new tint on my windows could result in less UV radiation weathering it out so much

i have a black truck and it 'run channel' being grayish really made it look dullish

Coat it in cosmoline and wax paper, sealed in a shipping container. Buried 6' under.

I wonder if anyone still uses cosmoline, it's good shit, my Z still has tons of it all over from the 80s before it was loaded on a boat and shipped to the US
