    so far all I have changed are the pedals and tires. front wheel is a tubeless capable wheel only because I taco'd the original one.

    pedals are 100% a necessity, it comes with those crap ass plastic ones she will slip off and probably maker her quit day 1 lol.

    the original tires suck pretty bad too. youtube her specific bike and see what others said when they bought it. there are tons of videos of folks buying my bike, idk about the women's though. got a link to hers?

    I for sure noticed a difference when I bought a shorter stem for my bike, but I don't think it'll matter until she gets the hang of riding trails. I think pedals and tires would be enough for now unless she says otherwise and wants something else.
