    Boo to that. These little cans are sweet, the white part holds spark plugs, their wrench, spare chain, couple bottles of mix oil. Dump some gas in the red can, snap the two pieces together and roll.

    What exactly did you break here and in what order? I see sheared studs and no cv, did the LCA bolt break an take everything out when the knuckle was then flopping around? Was it just the studs on the hub or did another part give out?

    edit - actually looks like the rotor is just wonky and hiding the studs.

    Both tulips on the axle blew as well as the LCA uniball bolt. In the dark it looked worse than it was and the trail fix to bolt it together without the axle actually wrecked the hub which was the reason for leaving it trail side.

    Rucked up next morning with new hub and LCA bolt and got the LCA bolted back up with the axle stub through the hub to drive it to camp. At camp pulled it back apart, stuffed spare axle in and buttoned it back up.

    Cause for all the drama:

    My air compressor switch is in a stupid place and had inadvertently switched off leaving me to believe that I had air lockers when I didn’t.

    Ah, that makes sense. I hate when a fairly simple issue like that (the broken CV) leads to a whole other pile of shit and destruction.
