    bummer, well maybe down the line ill just say F'it and go with a long tube design from someone. For now need to keep the CA legal as much as I can appear to be.

    Like I said I have the jba shorties with stock cats welded on. They are OK, but I would rather have the urd long tubes (only ones I would get at the current time... Still waiting on @Roostfactor to build a set of long tubes so I can buy those lol). The jbas added a little shift in the torque curve where it seemed to have more torque down low as I could roast my tires easier.

    The long tube headers are something you definitely do not want to be uninstalling every 2 years to pass smog. They aren't fun to install, so if you cannot find a reliable way to pass smog then just get the shorties and live with it.

    I run Doug Thorley shorties with vibrant high flow cats. I love it. Yes I’d rather do longs but this is more than sufficient til I convince myself to go the other route and dick around with o2 sims.

    They sound like they are leaking but there is no soot around them so I dunno. I used oem gaskets though

    I want to get my truck on a scale and see how much weight savings I’ve gotten by chopping so much out of the truck. Though replacing the chopped out sections with vastly thicker and larger portions of steel probably isn’t helping my weight savings.

    Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    Just put one in last night. I ordered from ZZP and expected it to be green, but it looks like the one from jon bon. Noticeable difference in sound at idle verse the spring loaded. First significant snow last night, roads were crap, barely got to wind it up...

    On a side note, part of the S/C maintenance work was going to be installing my 650cc flow matched injectors and a 2.6 pulley with quick change hub. After confirming with Scott that they could "tune" these via UCON prior to purchase during the group buy, and then attempting to schedule said tune for last weekend, I was informed that they cannot tune the 650cc. But they can do the URD provided 640cc. He said they had tried to tune them in the past and ended up throwing them out. He also said he talked to Gadget and they had flow tested a set and it was bad news and I should get my money back?!?!

    So I then inquired if it was just one set that they had tested. I mentioned that there are dozens of Tacos running them and that they are a major aftermarket provider.
    Have not heard back...

    I would really like for them to try and tune these. But I do not want to try to convince them of something and not get the results I want.
    Was it anyone on here that tried to work with Scott and the Fuel Injector Clinic injectors that did not have success?

    S/C went back on without the power upgrades. SO DISAPPOINTED!

    You mean they wanted to sell you their product instead of one you already have? And to do so they told you they wouldn’t work with the product you have? Sounds like URD trying to screw you into buying their stuff

    Yeah, everyone has. They change the way the supercharger behaves and the sound at idle increases. As you will hear the rotors turning with it on now.

    Fuel injectors are fuel injectors man, and they are full of shit. More the reason why you need to dump that UCON and go with HPTuners.

    That sounds typical of them.
