Switch Pros blocked me when I brought up their Android Bluetooth issues

Just thought I'd throw this out there since the new Switch Pro product got announced. I commented on their post about how they should really be fixing their app before releasing new products with broken features. They promptly deleted my message, messaged me this and then blocked me when I responded. Very good customer service... ‍

 

3/4 is worth being released. get over it guy, they are providing a product that YOU choose to buy. Maybe you need to get a different phone than a samsung.

 

I bought the product with high expectations (considering how pricey it is) and assumed the features they advertised would work. Silly me, right?!

We all have been there, I assumed i'd be either filthy rich by now or dead and neither accomplished and ive tried! I yell at the bankers all the time

 

They your boys or something? What is up with people defending vendors on here, honest question? I'm going to tag myself vendor and start mailing people poop in a box

 

You manufacture anything ?- Its a tuff world and sometimes you gotta stick up for people trying to make the place better rather than crying about it.

 

It's not so much defending vendors as calling an entitled weenie, an entitled weenie.

 

yeah I've been hearing about the bluetooth issues from some locals here that have them. They put out a solid product besides the bluetooth issues so I'm betting on them getting this issue resolved in the near future. There would be no reason for them to leave such an issue unresolved. Technology can be a huge headache.

 

Couldn't agree more! Some people live and die by vendors. And im ALLLLLL about home grown business. But that DOES NOT mean mistakes should go unnoticed and defended to the end.

 

That goes with saying, it's a tough world for people who make stuff to. Either fix the issues, address the issues, and make things right. Or stop making things

 

I'll use that one vendor that had some issues a few weeks ago. He was getting swamped with orders he couldn't keep up with. He shut his site down. Addressed the issue with everyone publicly and took the time to fix it. That's how IT SHOULD be done. And I commend him for it.

But those companies that ignore legitimate issues and block people because they dont like the feedback are NOT companies that people should be defending just because you dont happen to have said issue.

 

I appreciate the hard work vendors put in but I also understand people wanting stuff to work as advertised, But seriously..

This is the biggest reason I made this post. They're seemingly trying to bury this issue, and deleting any comments that bring it up. I do believe they are trying to fix it, but they shouldn't be trying to hide it. The wording they used is pretty weird as well... "we have our developer working on hacking the Samsung security permissions".

I've had issues with the app as well for bluetooth, when I spoke to them over the phone they told me it was because I had an iPhone and that Android was vastly superior, well that's what their developer told her to tell me. I've never been able to get it to work 100% of the time so I just ignored the app and only use the physical unit in the truck.

So if you buy an iphone that cant send text messages but can still make phone calls, you gonna be okay with that?

A purchased product should work with all the features a company advertises. Not just the main ones.
